Paul Coronato

Originally from Long Island, New York, Paul “Paulie” Coronato moved here in 1993 and attended Jefferson Forest High School. In 2001, shortly after graduating from high school, he decided to pursue a career in barbering. He completed his apprenticeship program through Diamond Cutz Barbershop. Through that apprenticeship and over the last 20 years of cutting hair in the Lynchburg, VA, area, he has learned to master all types of hairstyles. In May of 2018, Paulie opened Paulie’s Barbershop.

For Paulie, cutting hair is not just about a great fade. It’s also about getting to know your client, understanding them and being personal with someone.

Paul’s Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, however schedule varies throughout the year. In the Spring and Fall, Paulie travels for Framatome, so there are long breaks in between.

Anthony MortOn

Anthony Morton was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia and is a 2005 graduate of E.C. Glass High School. Anthony started cutting hair in 2010 at Chopper’s Barbershop, then moved to Hill City Cuts in 2014. He teamed up with Paulie’s in 2018 and we are proud to have him! He brings professionalism, talent and humor to our shop!

Charles Mitchell

My name is Chuck, and I was born and raised in Tappahannock, Virginia. I moved to Richmond, Virginia, and went to barber school at Richmond Technical Center in 2012. I lived there for eight years before moving to Amherst County, which is where I have lived for nearly two years.

I am originally from central Texas. I have been cutting hair as a barber for 6 years. My profession began in Yuma, Arizona on the west coast, and I later relocated to Northern Virginia. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible people and acquiring new skills throughout my career. I enjoy being a barber because I get to build relationships with my customers and give them the greatest experience possible. Book with me and let me be your barber.

Tyler Patterson

Originally from Bedford Va, Tyler “The Burly Barber” graduated from Liberty High School in 2010 and later Radford University in 2014. After years of looking for the right career, Tyler believes he finally found his calling when he began barbering in the summer of 2020. Tyler completed his apprenticeship under Jared Hesse at Gentleman John’s Classic Barber Shop before moving to High Point Barbershop in Richmond, Va to further his growth and education. Now a fully licensed barber, he’s returning to Lynchburg to continue his barbering career and looks forward to growing even more with Paulie and the rest of the crew.

Kyle Ladroga

My name is Kyle Ladroga, I’ve been a licensed barber since 2017. I’ve held a license in multiple states but I’ve been in Virginia since 2021. I’ve been here at Paulie’s barbershop since last year. I pride myself in being well-versed in all hair styles including long scissor cuts all the way down to straight razors skin fades and everything in between. Jerry Reed

My name is Jerry Reed, and I’m from Lynchburg, Virginia. I started getting interested in haircutting around the age of twelve, when I started shaving and would also try to cut my own hair. I experimented with it for a few years, teaching myself. Then, when I was sixteen, I joined a local shop and started to learn from the barbers who worked there at the time. I eventually left that shop and freelanced until 2012. That was when I started working at a popular barber shop in the community. I worked there for six years, and acquired my master barber license during that time. In 2019, I left that shop to pursue an improved career situation and work in a better environment. I am now working at Paulie’s Barbershop.

I was born and raised in Clinton corners New York my whole life and moved to Lynchburg Virginia 2021. I teamed up with Paulie on August 20th. I am a master barber, been cutting hair for 6 years. Very versatile cutting any hairstyle adding a unique New York touch. Book with me today!
